When seeking Portland Electrolysis you have some advantages over electrolysis in other states.
For example, electrologists in Portland are required to pass and maintain an active Oregon license. In order to receive and maintain a license, the electrologist is required to meet a set of standards and practices that insure your safety.
A Licensed Electrologist (LE) must complete a minimum 600 hours in a state approved school of electrolysis, and must pass both written and practical examinations administered by the Oregon Health Licensing Agency. An LE must also complete at least 15 continuing education hours or 2.0 Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) every two years. A current license must be on display in the practitioner’s office. Be advised that all states do not license their electrologists.
Tangee, being a professional offering Portland electrolysis, takes pride in exceeding these standards and practices. As of this writing (2013), Tangee is Vice President of the association. Prior to accepting this nomination, Tangee was the treasurer for many years and continues to support the board in many other ways.
